A group is not interchangeable with every solo activity

BLACKPINK appears in YG’s artist directory. When checking a specific song, however, use that release’s own artist page and credits. Distinguish the performing artist, group, label, distributor and event organizer instead of using one name for all of them.

For example, “a BLACKPINK group announcement” and “a member’s solo release announcement” are different searches. Preserve the exact name and scope of the statement you find. Avoid turning a group-level notice into an unsupported claim about private life or the business terms of every member.

Read dates before treating a notice as current

The English Notice page checked for this guide included archived concert information from 2024 and earlier. The separate Report page contained newer 2026 company coverage. A newer report is useful context, but a booking decision still requires the particular event’s current announcement and ticketing page.

  1. Identify the year, city, venue and artist on the original notice.
  2. Check whether the information describes a past performance, a forthcoming event or a promotional video.
  3. Open only the official destination linked for that event, then verify the matching name and dates.
  4. Save the announcement URL and the date checked so you can revisit changes.

How to evaluate a milestone claim

When a company reports a view or attendance milestone, record who made the claim and the date. Views, subscribers, streams and tickets are different measures. If an article compares records across artists, it also needs a consistent platform, time period and category; a promotional headline alone cannot supply that comparison.
